History vs. Game of Thrones Tour

Learn more about Dubrovnik’s real history through its role of “King’s Landing” in the popular Game of the Thrones filming series.

This is an ideal tour if you enjoy discovering the TV magic and would also like to learn about the real history of Dubrovnik Republic.
Dubrovnik is a UNESCO heritage site and is one of the most important living historical monuments in this part of Europe. It’s only recently that it has become an active filming location for the big budget movie and TV productions.   HBO’s filming series Game of Thrones used Dubrovnik as the real life setting for ‘Kings Landing’.  Accompanied by a licensed local guide, a fan of the show, you will get to discover the filming locations of the show.  Re-live some of the most interesting parts of the story.  Dubrovnik boasts incredibly complex and interesting history of its own and your guide will give you some real life stories from the local history that are just as exciting than what you see on screen.
